”STALKER AT WORK”
Surveillance is omnipresent like air or water and acts as a tail or a shadow that follows you everywhere.
With this thought and idea, a kinetic body sculpture i.e. a surveillance tail
( entirely made out of CCTV Cameras ) strangely alive; attaches itself to the artist, moving with quiet obedience through the soft choreography of everyday life. It follows as he eats, walks, pauses; weightless and without mercy.
Like air or water, it slips into every space, every moment and gesture. The tail is both companion and captor, absurd and intimate. The artist turns the act of watching into something tender, disquieting, and deeply human; an echo of our own complicity in the gaze that never blinks.
