Commissioned – 2011 / Short Film / 6 min 30 sec
Story, Script & Research – Kurnal Rawat & Anand Tharaney
Photographed by Sameer Tawde
Produced by Grandmother India Design Pvt. Ltd.
Prince explores the black and yellow Fiat taxi of Mumbai, the one and only cab to ply on its streets until now. Using pixilation technique, the short film conveys a time lapse, of a vibrant cultural icon to its present state of discontinue. Echoed in the dreams of Bollywood, in the fantastic sticker art that refuses to burn out, this 50s family car has stretched its last gasp.
